Nitrile Gloves are used in medical, industrial, scientific, food preparation and service, hobby and numerous other applications to protect the wearer from exposure to disease, infection, contamination from toxic substances, helping to maintain a clean working environment.
Nitrile Butadiene Rubber or NBR is superior to Latex Rubber and Natural Rubber in its resistance to oils and acids. Nitrile Rubber is stronger and more puncture resistant, but less flexible. It is also less likely to cause allergic reactions. Like natural rubber, Nitrile Rubber can be harmed by exposure to esters, ketones, ozone and aldehydes.
CAUTION: DO NOT USE in combination with nitric acid or other strong oxidizers. Hazards include spontaneously oxidizing the gloves, exposing skin to toxic substances.
